Refund Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
The short version
- Images that fail are refunded as credits automatically. You don't need to ask.
- Credit packs: full refund within 14 days if you haven't used any credits since buying.
- Subscriptions: cancel any time; it stays active until the end of the month you paid for, and your credits don't expire.
- To ask for a refund, write to support@viralthumbnail.app.
1. Automatic credit refunds
If an image fails to generate, or our safety check refuses the request before the image is made, the credit is returned to your balance right away. If a finished image is blocked by the safety check on its output, the credit is not returned, because the image was produced.
2. Credit packs (one-time purchases)
You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying a credit pack, as long as you haven't used any credits since that purchase. Credits you've used to generate images, including images you didn't end up using, can't be refunded.
We don't keep thumbnails, so download the ones you want. Credits spent on thumbnails that were deleted before you downloaded them can't be refunded.
3. Subscriptions
- Cancel any time from Manage subscription in the app. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you keep the credits it added.
- We don't refund partial months.
- If you subscribed by mistake, you can get a full refund of your first payment within 14 days, as long as you haven't used any of its credits.
4. How to ask for a refund
Write to support@viralthumbnail.app from your account's email address, and say which purchase. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe; your bank usually shows them within 5 to 10 business days. When a payment is refunded, the credits it added are removed from your balance.
5. Chargebacks
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank: we can usually solve it faster. If a payment is disputed, the credits it added are removed, and your balance can go below zero.
6. Your legal rights
This policy doesn't limit any right you have under consumer protection law, including the Mexican Federal Consumer Protection Law (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor).
